PRESS RELEASE: Senator Frederica Wilson Hosts Rally Around the Community Back to School Health and Education Fair
MIAMI GARDENS – State Senator Frederica S. Wilson (D-Miami) joins New Birth Baptist Church Cathedral of Faith International for a Community Back to School Health and Education Fair, on Friday, August 21, 2009, at 2300 N.W. 135th Street, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
“As a community, we want to improve access to Health Care for economically disadvantaged children,” said Senator Wilson. “It is our priority to empower parents and community members by making them better informed and educated on health and social issues affecting their lives”.
This Community Back to School Health and Education Fair is part of an initiative by New Birth Baptist Church to help create a healthier and safer community by promoting awareness of health care services for underprivileged, uninsured children of low income families. The day will also include
